Cassette-style mounting holds the rear wheel protector coil securely in place
Nylon spool with powder coated aluminium hub stop
Cassette mount with O-rings that prevent water from entering the wheel hub
Quick and easy to fit: grease, insert and tighten

What is a spindle coil crash protector?
The nylon spool head protruding from the R 1250 GS Rally TE drivetrain and the aluminium centralising spacer protect the rear of the propshaft housing, hub and wheel. Made from injection-moulded nylon, the coil head sits on an aluminium centralising spacer and rotates with the wheel to reduce impact damage in one area and reduce stress on the wheel. A machined and coated aluminium hub stop on the non-drive side completes the elegant design of the GS.

To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
