Is the ‘Race-type’ screw set suitable for my motorbike?
Yes, they are. Providing you have ordered the correct set for your motorbike, the main specifications (thread pitch, length etc) are the same as the equivalent Evotech road bolts. The difference is that the ‘head’ is a 12mm hex and has pre-drilled holes for the use of locking wire, which is mandatory in most racing classes worldwide. However, if you want the ultimate race replica bike or live for the track, then the Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set (Race) is an ideal addition and safety aid. More importantly, Evotech caliper bolt sets are CNC machined to exact, repeatable tolerances to ensure consistent caliper mounting alignment and braking performance.
Note –Before fitting, it is essential that careful comparison of the Evotech bolt to the OE part occurs to ensure a like-for-like replacement, including length, bolt pitch and thread. Incorrect fitting bolts could impact brake application and, therefore, rider safety. Evotech Caliper Bolts are listed as replacements for manufacturer’s original equipment fitted in the make year of the specific motorcycle model. Occasionally, anomalies, updates and supply changes occur.
Note – for model specific torque settings, please refer to the manufacturer’s handbook. It is recommended that periodic inspections are made to ensure that all bolts remain tightened to the correct torque setting.

General safety instructions for the product:
We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any doubts, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We wanted to point this out.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
As a matter of principle (for ecological reasons), we do not print out installation instructions or enclose them with the delivery.
Because of 1 x assembly! We recommend (as we do the first time) to take the tablet or laptop with you to the workshop.
