Is the ‘RACE’ bolt set suitable for my motorbike?
Yes, they are. Providing you have ordered the correct set for your bike, the main specifications (thread pitch, length etc) are the same as the Evotech road equivalents. The difference is that the ‘head’ is a 12mm hex and has pre-drilled holes for the use of locking wire, which is mandatory in most racing classes worldwide. However, if you want the ultimate race replica bike or live for the track, then Evotech Performance's Brake Caliper Bolt Set (Race) is an ideal addition and safety aid. More importantly, Evotech brake caliper bolt kits are CNC machined to exact, repeatable tolerances to ensure consistent caliper mounting alignment and braking performance.
Note - Careful comparison of the Evotech bolt with the original part is required before fitting to ensure an equivalent replacement, including length, bolt pitch and thread. Incorrectly fitted bolts can impair the braking effect and therefore the safety of the rider. Evotech brake calliper bolts are listed as replacements for the manufacturer's original parts fitted in the relevant year of the motorbike model. Occasionally there are anomalies, updates and delivery changes.
Note: Please refer to the manufacturer's manual for the model-specific torque settings. It is recommended that regular checks are carried out to ensure that all bolts are tightened to the correct torque.

We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any doubts, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We wanted to point this out.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
As a matter of principle (for ecological reasons), we do not print out installation instructions or enclose them with the delivery.
Because of 1 x assembly! We recommend (as we do the first time) to take the tablet or laptop with you to the workshop.
