Why is a motorcycle radiator guard necessary?
The EP radiator guard protects the Honda CB1000 Hornet's radiator from damage caused by road debris, damage that occurs when stones are kicked up by the front tire or other road users. The radiator consists primarily of delicate cooling fins that bend easily. The radiator contains a system of piping that can be damaged beyond repair. Misaligned cooling fins block airflow and can lead to engine overheating. Holes in the coolant passages lead to rapid overheating and a high risk of engine damage. Leaking coolant can also lead to a loss of grip if it reaches the motorcycle's tires.

We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
