What is the spindle coil impact protection?
The innovative EP spindles for the BMW R 1200 GS / R 1250 GS are made of high quality materials and protect the front fork, brake calipers and swingarm. A robust nylon spool head sits over an aluminum core, which is held in place by a stainless steel spindle rod. The nylon is free to move over the aluminum, which can reduce stress on the wheel. A replacement hollow spindle screw is included to facilitate spindle coil installation.

If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
