Why a rear wheel axle guard ?

To protect the lower single-sided swingarm and the sprocket carrier, the rear wheel axle protector for the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is easy to fit.  The advanced design has an aluminium core with the nylon spool cap.  The materials are independent of each other, allowing the nylon to shift on impact to reduce the stress on the wheel.  An attractive red hub stop secures the spindle rod on the exhaust side.

The new Evotech anti-shock crash pads have been designed and manufactured with the aim of absorbing the impact in the event of a fall. This means that the impact is absorbed by the slider and does not act directly on the frame.In the event of a fall, the slider is pressed onto a specially designed spacer with an increasing diameter. This causes the slider to deform, reducing the energy caused by the impact.
Technik Info
Tests conducted both under laboratory conditions and on the road showed a significant decrease in the load transferred to the frame compared to standard crash pads.
The slider of the crash pad is made of a plastic compound containing glass fibre.
It combines high shock absorption and abrasion resistance with low friction on the asphalt.We recommend a tightening torque of 90/95 Nm. Apply grease during fastening and if possible stabilise the motor with a lifting device.
