What is spindle coil crash protection?
They provide protection for the wheel spindle, lower front fork, brake calipers and swingarm. EP spindle coils are discreet yet strong. The black coils fit snugly on both sides of the wheel axle and are held in place by a rolled threaded spindle rod. The durable injection-moulded nylon and aluminium materials hope to be the first to receive an impact in the event of an accident. Plus, the nylon outer rings can twist on impact to reduce stress and wear on the wheel and spools.
