What is the reason for installing an EP Radiator Guard?
The EP Radiator Guard protects the radiator of the Triumph Speed / Scrambler 400 X from damage caused by road debris while allowing the all-important cooling air to pass through. The radiator's cooling fins are easily bent by flying debris and can obstruct the cooling air, which can lead to overheating. In addition, the inner aluminium core of the radiator can be perforated by large or small stones. Coolant can leak from a badly damaged radiator and render the motorbike unusable due to overheating, which can lead to engine damage. Replacing a defective radiator is very expensive compared to the purchase price of a radiator guard from Evotech Performance.

Reinforced number plate made of DIBOND® material 180 x 200 mm

Are you looking for a stable and visually clean solution for mounting your number plate?
We offer a 3 mm thick, 150 gram light DIBOND® plate with perfectly rounded, milled corners.
This is identical to the curves of the number plate.
The plate is matt black on one side and glossy black on the other.
For our customers from SWITZERLAND or LICHTENSTEIN we also have the right size in stock: 140 x 180 mm plate
For our customers from Austria we can recommend this plate: 210 x 170 mm

The plate is supplied without holes.
We used 5 mm countersunk screws for mounting on a KTM Super Duke R 1.0.

The holes on the plate were countersunk with a 5.5 mm drill bit and then with a countersunk drill bit according to the screw.
It is best to use a pillar drill with a depth stop for this.
To secure the M5 cap nut we use Loctite 243.
The reflector with the angle bracket is already included with most EVOTECH PERFORMANCE number plate holders. If not, you can get it HERE.
