Why fit an EP rectifier guard?
A motorbike rectifier converts generated AC power into DC power and delivers a regulated DC voltage to the battery. This means that the rectifier generates heat and is positioned to be cooled by open or passing air. Unfortunately, the positioning of the rectifier means that it is susceptible to damage from road debris (stones, grit, etc.).
