Is an EP radiator guard necessary for a classic style motorbike?

Yes, definitely. Every motorbike radiator should be protected as they are almost impossible to repair and expensive to replace. The EP radiator guard protects the Triumph from damage caused by road grime. Radiators consist of delicate cooling fins that bend easily and block the air flow - this can cause the engine to overheat. In addition, the radiator's internal water channels can be punctured by stones thrown directly into the radiator from the Triumph's front tyre or from the rear tyre of a motorbike or car.
