What is a spindle coil crash protector?
The Evotech Performance Spindle Coil Crash Protectors for the BMW S 1000 XR TE are made from matte black injection moulded nylon and offer discreet yet robust protection. With the added support of aluminium internals, the spindle coils aim to be the first to act in the event of an impact, protecting the expensive forks/swings, spindle mounts and brake calipers from damage.   The innovative EP design allows the nylon spools to rotate over the aluminium to reduce wear and stress on the wheel.

If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications. The fixing screws on the licence plate holder in particular should be secured with threadlocker. Loss of the licence plate holder due to lost screws can cause unpleasant damage.
